We have lots of reminders in our house.

Pictures of the kids.

Ornaments from places we’ve been.

Memorabilia from my footy team’s last few years of success.

When we look at them, we are reminded of the wonderful memories.

They help to make this house our home.

Sometimes, we have other reminders in our lives.

Memories of past hurts.

Of diabolical bosses.

Of bad decisions.

Of abuse or trauma.

What we spend our time pondering and thinking about will so often define our level of satisfaction and happiness.

We can look at the reminders that make us smile, or spend time re-living the reminders that cause us pain.

Choose wisely.
