Our oldest son is in the middle of school exams at the moment and is moderately stressed about it.

They make up 25% of his end of year mark, so he wants to do reasonably well, especially in his favourite subjects.

We go through a lot of tests in life.

School tests.

Driving tests.

Blood tests.

Eye tests.

Aptitude tests.

But as I tried to remind him a couple of nights ago, there’s one big test that matters more than the others.

It’s the character test.

The one that takes place when no-one is looking.

Or perhaps when you are under extreme pressure.

Or when you have an ethical decision to make.

If you can consistently pass that, you’re going to be OK.
