Pastor Albert Tate recently said,

“Leadership isn’t something outside of me that I have to grasp. It’s something inside of me that I have to grow.”

If you want to be a leader, or if you think that already are a leader and want more opportunities to shine, please remember this principle.

Leadership is not dependent on external factors, but on internal elements.

It doesn’t require the right environment, it requires constant learning and development.

If you want to lead and lead well, it’s up to you to read and be coached and to grow.

And it’s not just about reading great books or attending inspiring seminars.

It’s about what you take away from these experiences and apply to your situation.

Nobody else will water it.

Nobody else will nurture it.

Your capacity to lead effectively is entirely up to you.

What are you going to do about it?
