U.S. President Calvin Coolidge once said,

Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence.

Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent.

Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb.

Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts.

Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan ‘Press On’ has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.

You might think that you are missing something.

I’m here to tell you that you’re not.

It’s not talent, genius or education that you need to achieve your goals, it’s persistence.

It’s the ability to keep going when the mountain seems far away.

To get back up after falling.

To ignore the critics and doubters.

To march in the rain.

If you have that, nothing can stop you.
