One of the unexpected benefits of this recent pandemic has been being forced to do nothing.

We haven’t been able to socialise.

We haven’t been able to to play or watch sport.

We haven’t been able to go out and about.

Whilst that may have been frustrating at times, many people that I have spoken with have seen the benefits.

The benefits of sitting still, of contemplating life, of using the imagination in a positive way.

They feel less rushed, less flustered, less chaotic.

When this is over and we’ve returned to something resembling normal, don’t forget this lesson.

And promise yourself that you’ll do less, more often.
