We each carry two lists in our pockets.

One contains all of our regrets from the past.

It has the names of those who have hurt or offended us.

It goes into great detail in referring to our fears and anxieties.

It contains references to each and every time you were unlucky.

It has each obstacle, real and imagined, carefully catalogued.

And it contains everything that brings you grief and shame, making you feel unworthy and alone.

The other list has all of your future aspirations and dreams.

It contains your unique strengths and describes your greatest victories.

It has all of the things that you are grateful for.

It has little reminders about your purpose and mission.

It records that God is for you and not against you.

And vivid descriptions of the times when others have said nice, encouraging messages about you.

We each have these lists.

One of the keys to your level of happiness and success will be which list you refer to most often.

Choose wisely.
