Now is the perfect time for kindness.

To say thanks to our healthcare workers.

To smile at our supermarket workers.

To look out for the isolated and elderly.

To comfort the fearful.

To pray for our leaders.

To wash our hands and stay indoors.

The alternative to kindness is to be mean-spirited or self-absorbed.

But that doesn’t help anyone, including ourselves.

Now is the perfect time for kindness.

Because we’re all in this together.
