In a crisis, you have a choice.

You can throw your hands up in despair.

You can complain to everyone within earshot.

You can act like it’s the end of the world and be a victim.

You can wallow in misery and try to recruit others to join you.

Or you can lead.

You can keep your head up.

You can find something positive that you can do to make things better.

You can take one step in the right direction, and then another, and then another.

You can understand that crises happen to everyone at some stage and you’re not defined by your situation, but by your response.
