It will cost you to live your best life.
To make decisions with the long-term in mind.
To continually learn.
To remain disciplined and focused.
To do the right thing, even when you don’t feel like it.
To work hard every day.
To set a high standard for your work.
To be a positive influence during negative times.
All of these things will cost you, so we hesitate and wonder whether or not it’s really worth it.
But the reality is, that there’s a cost to living a mediocre life as well.
It costs to be impulsive.
To stay ignorant.
To be sloppy.
To compromise your values.
To slack off and hope that no-one notices.
To believe that close enough is good enough.
To join the choir of complainers.
Either way, there’s a cost to be paid.
What you sow, you will one day reap, so please choose the cost that becomes an investment in greatness.
