Today is Good Friday.

As a Christian, it’s a wonderful opportunity for reflection.

On this day, we remember that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, sacrificed His life for us in the ultimate act of love.

As a consequence, of His death and resurrection on the third day, we have an opportunity to be reconciled to God.

What extraordinary, boundless love.

It’s not trendy to be a Christian at the moment.

And there are those believers who make my head shake when I hear their words and see their deeds.  As in all large groups, there are Christians who don’t live in a way that positively reflects the rest of their tribe.

Please know that I respect your beliefs.

I know that there are wonderful people who read this blog from all parts of the world and from a range of religions.

I love you all and certainly don’t want to push my faith down your throats.

But when I see the image of Jesus hanging on the cross in shame, I am unashamed to say that I am a follower of His.
