This week, I saw a lady walking proudly with her dog in a pram.
The dog looked very regal, sitting up straight as he observed the world from his carriage, but it was a strange sight.
There didn’t seem to be anything wrong with him.
He had four legs, he just wasn’t using them.
I wonder if he went back to his little doggy friends and talked about the walk he went on, that wasn’t really a walk at all.
It seemed like such a waste.
We can be like that dog.
Expecting to make progress in life, without utilising the skills that we have.
Expecting a great career, without doing the work over a long period of time.
Expecting others to appreciate us, without investing in our relationships.
You’ve got legs.
Walk!
