I strongly believe that everyone is good at something.

Something that matters.

Something that can make the world a better place.

Something that can help them to earn a reasonable living.

I don’t know what your specific situation is, but here are 3 factors to consider regarding your skills:

Know what your skills are

There are far too many people who meander through life without ever really finding out what their skills are.  So, if you don’t know what you were wired to do, there’s a good place to start.

What are you naturally good at?

What do you find easier to do than others?

If you’re not sure, ask those who know you best, but please make sure that you find out.

Use them

I know that it seems obvious, but there are too many people working in jobs that don’t match their skills.  Once you know what you are good at, make sure that you find a role that enables you to fully utilise them regularly.

Get better

It’s awesome that you are good at something, but what if you could become great?  World class?  Elite?

If you can find a way to continually develop your skills, just imagine what the future could look like for you?

I’ve met a lot of people who either didn’t know what they were good at, didn’t utilise their strengths or failed to fully develop their potential.

Please don’t let that be you.

You were given those skills for a reason, so go for it.
