Imagine a parade marching down the main street of your city or town.

Spectators line the street as sporting stars, local celebrities, war heroes, marching bands and people with slightly loopy costume making skills walk on by and wave to the onlookers.

We all have a choice.

We can watch and wave.

We can make snarky comments.

Or we can do something remarkable with our lives and join the parade.

This may never happen literally, but it must happen metaphorically.

Hear that sound?

It’s the sound of marching drums.
