For over 8 years, I have run my own resume writing and career coaching business, the last 6 years full-time.
It’s been a fantastic opportunity and it has been a privilege to work closely with thousands of clients from around Australia (and globally), helping them to achieve their career goals and find meaningful work.
But that has come to an end and I had my first day in my new role today.
Whilst I have loved this business, after such a long period of time working by myself and slogging away most evenings and every weekend, it’s time to get some normality back into my life.
It was a big decision, but I’m very excited about my new position back in the customer service sector.
It will mean commuting again, but the opportunity to utilise my leadership skills to train and coach staff to maximise their performance is something that I am very passionate about.
Am I nervous? Absolutely.
Am I grateful? You bet.
Do I know how it will turn out? Not really.
But I do know that the best is yet to come.
Let the adventure begin!
(Please note, I will still be writing this blog)
