This is the 2000th post on this blog.
It’s not a milestone that I was anticipating or would have expected to reach when I first started this blog in March 2010, but it’s certainly one that I am proud of.
I started to make better use of my evenings as I felt that I was wasting my time watching too much TV or playing games. I also wanted to provide a positive alternative in the often hostile and negative internet world.
So every weeknight, rain, hail or shine, I hit publish and another post goes out.
I was getting a bit of a head wobble about the achievement, but then saw that one of my blogging heroes, Seth Godin, recently hit the 7000 mark, so I’ve still got a long way to go.
This isn’t the greatest blog in the world and I’m not the world’s most awesome or inspirational writer, but when I hear from someone on the other side of the world that I inspired or encouraged them in their journey, I praise God and keep writing.
Will I make it to Seth’s mark of 7000?
Will I make it to 3000, or even 2001?
Who knows?
Today, I simply want to say thanks to everyone for your support over the years.
This blog is as much yours as it is mine and I appreciate, love and value you each.

Congrats on starting something and sticking with it. Your blog is filled great motivational content. Thank you also for telling us how you got started because that was very inspiring as well. Lately, I have felt that I am spending too much time with the same old bad habits that you had, watching too much TV and playing games instead of doing something that could impact my life and possibly the life of others. Thanks again and keep up the awesome blog. I appreciate what you do and look forward to it each day.

Great work Darren! Congrats to you for the dedication and effort! I have wondered at times – how does he do this? He’s consistent, always here and relevant.

(I put out a daily devotional for our company and re-posted one of your post but I had sent a note asking for permission and never heard anything so I did however give you credit!
