I have a confession to make.

I don’t feel motivated every single day.  Some days I feel below par, or just can’t be bothered.  It’s not ideal, but it’s also reality.

So what happens on the days when we don’t feel motivated?

Do we take the day off and call in sick?

Do we not go to the gym?

Do we sit on the couch and binge on Netflix?

Do we sit back and watch while everyone else passes us by?

Do we turn one unmotivated day into a week, a month, a year?

Or do we keep grinding despite how we feel?

Do we act first and let the motivation come to us as we go?

Do we tick off our list so that at the end of the day, even if we don’t feel motivated at least we have the satisfaction of knowing that we didn’t waste the day?

I suspect that one of the biggest differentiators between those who are successful and those who aren’t is what they do when they don’t feel motivated.
