Just as a sneeze spreads germs to the people around us, so our attitudes, actions and words are contagious and have an impact on others.
It doesn’t matter if you are a high profile leader, or a quiet, unobtrusive introvert, you have an affect, whether you like it or not.
My question today isn’t, “Are you an influence?” Because I know that you are. Your influence may be subtle or obvious, deliberate or accidental, but it’s definitely there.
My question for you is, “What are you spreading?”
Because your attitude, actions and words can spread fear or love.
Cynicism or encouragement.
Suspicion or acceptance.
Dread or eager anticipation.
Apathy or passion.
Negativity or laughter.
They can make people feel like giving up, or inspire them to do remarkable deeds.
You’re spreading something.
Make it positive.
