Some people have very low expectations of life.
They’re happy if they have a job. Any job.
They consider it a good day if they get through unscathed without any major dramas.
They’re OK with being just like everyone else around them.
Small cogs in a large machine.
Being swept along by the tide.
They keep their head down and their nose clean, hoping not to be noticed.
They don’t expect to change the world, they just hope that the world doesn’t change too much.
If that’s you, I want to encourage you to lift your expectations.
To expect to do remarkable things through your work.
To expect to positively impact the people around you.
To expect opportunities and lessons today and every day.
To expect that through passion, persistence and continued personal development, you can make the world a better place.
