“The boss won’t let me.”
“That’s not what they taught me at university.”
“I don’t have the time.”
“No-one will choose me.”
“I’m not one of the lucky ones.”
“I don’t have permission yet.”
“I’m just waiting for the perfect opportunity.”
Here’s the deal with these statements, they’re delaying tactics and excuses used by the mind to stop you from doing what you are meant to do with your life.
Your boss may never let you, so either start without their permission or get a new boss.
University can’t teach you everything and what you learned there becomes more redundant every year.
You’ll never have the time, you have to make it.
You have to choose yourself.
You have to rely on hard work and persistence, not luck.
The perfect opportunity never comes to the person who is waiting for it, but it may appear to the person who is working for it.
We all have a list of excuses that have the potential to hold us back.
It’s time to change the narrative, understand the reality and take responsibility for doing the work that you were created for.
