Kind-thoughts-dontKind thoughts don’t matter much.  They make absolutely no difference to the person being thought kindly of.

Kind intentions don’t mean much either.  Most people have good intentions, but many of them are never carried out.

There are only acts of kindness.

So today, when you think about calling someone, actually call them.

When you think that someone might need help, help them.

When you see someone who looks down and may need cheering up, listen to their story and give them a reason to smile again.

When you think of a cause that matters to you, don’t just send money to make yourself feel better, offer your skills to make a more meaningful personal contribution.

I don’t really care if they are random acts of kindness, or deliberate, focused, repeated acts of kindness.

Let’s find a way to make the world a better place, and remember that only our actions can do that.
