Ive-met-a-lot-of-peopleSeth Godin recently had this to say about our calling,

When what you do is something that you make important, it doesn’t matter so much what you do.

It’s not that important where. It matters a lot how.

With passion and care.

When it comes to our careers, it’s easy to become fixated on what you are doing.

The job description, the title, the company, the industry, the salary range.

I’m less interested in that.

I don’t want to know what you do, I want to know how you do it.

Do you do it with passion?

With generosity?

Do you do it to make a positive difference to your customers?  The people you work with?  The world?

I’ve met a lot of people with impressive titles and credentials who made a good living.

I’m more grateful for the passionate few who made a massive difference.

Which one are you?
