Do-not-be-faintheartedDo not be afraid…

of what tomorrow or the future may bring.

of the acts of a few extremists.

of those who look and act differently to you.

of making mistakes.

for your children.

of things that you cannot control.

There’s enough fear in the world, we need people of courage.

People who walk boldly, act in love and are committed to making the world a better place.

Before the people of Israel went into battle, the priest was commanded to address them by saying:

“Do not be faint-hearted or afraid; do not panic or be terrified by them.

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.”

As I meditated on this passage, I was reminded that He is with me and will fight for me, so no matter what my circumstances are, I do not need to worry or fear.

Of course, this is easier said than done, but my prayer for you today is that you will be able to act with confidence, not be restrained by your fears.
