I-want-to-ask-What-areThere will be times on your journey, when nothing much seems to be happening.  When the momentum slows down and you are waiting for the next step to take.

During these times, I want to ask, “What are you waiting for?”

But perhaps I should be asking, “What are you preparing for?”

Are you waiting for the future to happen, or are you preparing for it?

Are you waiting for an opportunity to do your best work, or are you preparing the groundwork to do it?

Are you waiting for the next stage of your career, or are you preparing to go to the next level?

Are you waiting to be noticed, or are you preparing to do remarkable deeds that force us to stand up and take notice?

Are you waiting for a sign from the heavens, or are you preparing for that time to come?

Waiting or preparing.

Two very different postures.

Two very different outcomes.
