I wish that it was easier to be successful.
I wish that I could tell you how to get maximum results for minimum effort.
I wish that there was a secret to becoming an overnight success.
I wish that it was possible to become an instant expert.
I wish that it was all downhill and smooth sailing.
I wish that there weren’t obstacles or critics to overcome.
I wish that success was linear, with a colour-by-numbers, join-the-dots formula that guaranteed outcomes in guaranteed timeframes.
I wish that one day Prince Charming would come and make everything alright.
It would be lovely if life was easier, but the reality is that it isn’t.
Business coaching icon Jim Rohn once said, “Don’t wish it was easier, wish you were better.”
We don’t necessarily want to hear this, but that’s just the way it is.
So stop wishing for easier and start getting better.
It’s hard work, but it’s worth it.
