Try and copy the late, great David Bowie.
Go on, I dare you.
See if you can replicate this extraordinary artist’s career across music, film and fashion.
Attempt to inspire and influence people from multiple generations.
Dare to become a unique global icon in your field of endeavour in the same way that he did.
It sounds like a noble idea, but it’s probably not possible.
There will only ever be one David Bowie.
In his song Quicksand, Bowie sings, “I’m not a prophet or a stone aged man, just a mortal with potential of a superman.”
You don’t have to be another David Bowie, you just have to be the best version of yourself.
You may not be able to replicate his achievements, but you still have the potential of a superman.
David Bowie was a truly amazing individual who left us with an amazing body of work that will on for generations.
Don’t honour him by trying to copy his deeds.
Honour him by releasing the superman (or woman) within, becoming the unique and remarkable individual that you have been created to be.
