You-may-be-slow-andWe all know Aesop’s fable of the tortoise and the hare.

The hare sprinted ahead and kept stopping, whilst the tortoise kept going, moving inexorably until he finally won the race.

It’s a great message¬†about how slow and steady wins the race, but there’s one thing that we need to remember.

No matter how fast or how slow they went.

No matter whether or not they stopped along the way or kept on going.

They both finished.

The hare may have been disappointed in not winning, but he still got there.

You may be slow and steady.

Or perhaps you’ve been sprinting and need to rest every now and then.

You may feel as though you are on the cusp of success.

Or maybe you are further away than ever.

You may have been journeying for weeks, months, or even years to get to your destination.

Just make sure that you get there in the end.
