I recently read an article in the Boston Globe about 90 year-old Dick Dreselly, a remarkable man who had managed to climb Mount Washington.
It’s an impressive effort from a man of his age and the article is well worth a read.
How did he do it?
In the words of the man himself, “Poco a poco.”
Little by little.
Step by step.
One small action after another.
Each action may not look impressive at the time, but the final outcome certainly is.
I don’t know what your aspirations are (although I hope that they are sufficiently audacious).
But when you stand at the bottom of your mountain, learn from Dick and don’t be intimidated.
It may not be an easy path that you’ve chosen to tread, but poco a poco, if you never give up, you’ll get there in the end.
I just know that you will.
Just like Dick Dreselly.
