If you’re anything like me, there are times when your feelings take over and have too much power over your actions.
You know what you should be doing, but you just don’t feel like it.
But if you want to be successful in any aspect of your life, you can’t let yourself become a prisoner of unhelpful feelings.
When you don’t feel like working, work hard anyway.
When you feel tempted to do the wrong thing, stay disciplined and on track.
When you feel like losing control of your temper, take a deep breath and stay composed.
When you feel down on confidence, put your head up, your shoulders back and act confidently.
It’s easy to let your feelings dominate you, but the challenge is to take charge of your emotions and not let them stop you from doing what you know you must.
And the more disciplined you become in this important area, the more you actually feel like doing the right thing anyway.
You can either be a prisoner of your feelings, or you can take them captive yourself.
The choice is up to you!
