Remember-what-you-sayIf you’re having a bad day or are just looking to improve the quality of your life, remember this important lesson, what you say will affect your day.

There’s no point complaining or whining about your situation, it will only make you feel worse.

Find something in your life that you can be grateful for and notice the difference.

There’s nothing to be gained from highlighting the problems that you have.

But you will benefit from discussing possible solutions.

And constantly putting your kids, co-workers or anyone else down does no-one any good.

However, there are significant gains from highlighting the positive attributes of the people around you and encouraging them in their endeavours.

So what are you saying about today?

Is it just another day, or is it a fantastic opportunity to do something remarkable?

I know that it’s easy to fall into a habit of speaking in a manner that defines your life in negative terms, but it’s important to remember that what you say affects your day.

And you may not be able to choose your circumstances, but you can always choose your words.
