The-quality-of-peoplesExcellence is hard.

It takes a lot of work and practice to become outstanding at anything.

It takes years of focus and discipline.

It means that you will need to make difficult sacrifices.

It leaves you open to criticism from those who don’t understand.

And you will need to stretch yourself and grow far beyond your current capabilities.

And so you have a dilemma.

Excellence or average?

Is it all too much trouble?

Do you bother or not?

Vince Lombardi once said, “The quality of people’s lives is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavour.”

So do you choose a life of excellence, with all of its challenges?

Or do you choose an average life, knowing that you were designed for something greater?
