Every time I go for a walk, I notice more.

I hear the birds singing, I admire my neighbours’ gardens, I feel the sun and the wind.

The more I notice, the more I contemplate.

I remember all that I am grateful for, I bemoan my shortcomings, I think about the profound and the absurdly mundane.

The more I contemplate, the more the ideas flow.

Ideas for blog posts, for clients, for marketing, for sermons and presentations, for becoming a better husband and father.

And I return to my humble abode refreshed, revitalised and wondering why I don’t walk more often.

Do you need to walk more often?
