“Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7)

What are you asking for?

Whom do you need to ask?

What are you asking from God?

From others?

From yourself?

Are you being specific and bold with your asking?

Why are you afraid to ask?

What do you seek?

Do you know what it looks like and will you recognise it when you get it?

How hard are you looking?

Are you giving it a cursory glance or are you really seeking?

Are you looking in the same places as before or moving to uncharted territories?

Are you knocking on doors?

Are you knocking on the right doors?

Have you given up after knocking once or are you persistent in your efforts?

Are you knocking hard enough to be heard?

Ask, seek, knock.

Life rewards persistent action, so when you feel demoralised, remember this promise.

You will receive, you will find, the door will be opened.

Maybe not today and perhaps not tomorrow, but keep persisting and you will get there in the end.
