If you feel like a hamster on a wheel and you’re unhappy about:
- the habits you’ve developed,
- the rut you’re in,
- the contribution that you’re making,
- your energy levels,
- your attitude towards life,
- or anything else…
Then celebrate the new year by leaving the past behind and becoming a new you.
Make the changes you need to make.
Keep the promises that you’ve been breaking every year.
Set big goals for yourself and write them down.
Get a mentor.
Smile more.
Stop focusing on your problems and start finding solutions.
Read more books.
Work harder.
When you make a mistake (and you will), don’t be too hard on yourself, but get back on track.
And if you stick with it, perhaps you can go from merely having a happy new year to being a happy new you.

This advice is great, but I also think it’s relevant to set small, daily goals in order to reach the big ones without becoming overwhelmed. http://andycore.com/
