Sometimes it’s intimidating to look at the problems of the world, thinking that we can’t make much of a difference.

There’s so much to do, so little time and you’re only one person.

You can’t feed every starving person.

You can’t bring peace to all of the complicated situations of the world.

You can’t house all of the refugees.

You can’t provide a job to every unemployed person.

You can’t teach every person to read.

You can’t convince every person that you meet that you’re right.

You can’t heal everyone who’s unwell.

But don’t let that stop you from trying.

Because you can’t do everything, but you can do something.

You can help one person, solve one problem and make a difference in one situation.

And you can do it today.

So don’t daunted by the magnitude of the problems you see, be excited by the reality that you can make a difference.
