Don’t try to become a version of someone else.

You may admire them, use them as role-models and learn from them.

But make sure that you don’t envy their abilities, their opportunities or their circumstances.

Just be aware of the need to be yourself.

And while you’re at it, make sure that it’s the best version of yourself.

Not an average version.

Not the same version that you were a year ago.

Not the good enough version.

Become the best version of yourself.

The version that has bold ambitions.

The version that makes a difference in the world.

The version that becomes an expert in your field.

The version that never stops learning.

The version that gives with generosity and loves without conditions.

The version that doesn’t look back on life with regret.

The version that consistently aspires to excellence.

The version that lives with purpose.

Just imagine if we all did that.

What a marvellous world it would be.

Are you becoming the best version of yourself?
