Sometimes, life is hard… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, your kids drive you nuts… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, you feel as though God has stopped listening to your prayers… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, it looks as though there is no way out of this mess… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, you feel unappreciated and that your skills are under-utilised… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, it feels as though there are more curses than blessings in your life… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, you look at the lifestyles of others and are envious… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, you have a long list of justifiable complaints and just feel like venting… Be grateful anyway.
Sometimes, you feel further away from achieving your goals than ever… be grateful anyway.
Whatever your situation is, find something to be grateful for today (or three things).
By opening your life to the practice of gratitude, you take your focus off the negatives and place them on the much more resourceful positive aspects of your life.
You give yourself the chance to breathe, to look to the future, to generate hope.
You become a little less bitter about life and a lot more fun to be around.
So whatever cards you’ve been dealt, good, bad or indifferent… Be grateful anyway!
