There are people who won’t appreciate your best work.
They may criticise it.
They may reject it.
They may laugh at it.
They may not understand it.
They may not find it helpful at the time.
But don’t let that stop you.
There are people who need your best work.
They need your word of encouragement.
They need your expertise.
They need your prayers.
They need your insights.
They need your moments of inspiration and contagious energy.
You don’t always know how people will respond before you give of your best.
So don’t focus on the potential critics, the mockers or the unappreciative as such thoughts will hold you back from doing your best.
Focus on doing your best work at all times because it has the potential to make a positive difference in the world.
And do your best for everyone.

Work has been a consistent theme in my life for several weeks now. What it means to work as unto the Lord. As I read this blog post today I was encouraged and inspired. I hope that it does the same for you.

I do my best work for one boss in particular – ME!!! They say you need to know yourself to thrive , and I do. I’m hard wired to distrust and chaff under authority – right or wrong , it feels like an allergy, and I can fight it or adapt myself to it. I choose to adapt. Thanks for the nice post!

Thank you for this inspiring post! The point of not letting critics stop you and instead focusing on doing your best work because it has the potential of making a positive difference in the world is so true yet so easy to forget. We all need to be reminded of this from time to time. Thank you for providing this reminder!
