I know that I should eat healthily and exercise regularly.

I know that I should spend as much time as I can with my family.

I know that I should read if I want to have a healthy mind.

I know that I should pray and read the bible every day.

I know that I should work hard if I want to maximise my capabilities.

But if I don’t want to do any of those things, I probably won’t.

We all have things that we know we should do.

The problem isn’t the information, it’s the motivation.

If our heart isn’t in it, it won’t get done.

Don’t rely on others to motivate you.  They’ll just tell you all of the reasons why you should do something.

It needs to come from within, you really have to want it.

Most people don’t need advice or coaching about what action they should take, as I suspect that they already know.

They need to find the reason to do it.

To find something that gets the heart beating a little bit faster.

Because if you know that you should do it, you’ll find a thousand excuses not to.

But if you want to do it, no-one can stop you!
