One day, a conformist sat down with a rogue.
He asked him a series of questions.
“Why do you have to be so opinionated?”
“Why can’t you just accept that this is how we do it around here?”
“Why can’t you just play it safe like the rest of us?”
“Why can’t you just be happy with the status quo?”
“Why do you have to bend so many rules?”
“What makes you think you’re so special and why do you think that you can make this work when no-one else has been able to?
“Why do you have to make so many suggestions?”
“Why are you so passionate, don’t you know that no-one else cares?”
“Why do you have to take so many risks?”
“Why do you keep insisting upon change, don’t you want things to stay like this forever?”
“Why do you have to keep poking and prodding, don’t you know how annoying it is to those of us who are happy the way things are?”
The rogue looked at the conformist, smiled gently and responded, “I guess that’s who I am. Now, can I ask you a question?”
“Sure.”
“Is it possible for a conformist to change the world?”

Excellent 🙂 I may not know where I will end up yet, but I surely know which of these two I am – and that means many more possibilities are out there 🙂 Your posts always ‘buck me up’
