Two weightlifters in the same category have the same weight to lift.
They have identical training routines, similar coaches and the same physical capabilities.
But there’s one key difference between them.
One believes that he can lift the weight in front of him.
The second one doesn’t think that he can.
Which one is more likely to be successful?
Two pole vaulters are about to attempt the same height.
They have identical training routines, similar coaches and the same physical capabilities.
But there’s one key difference between them.
One believes that he can jump over the bar.
The other doesn’t think that he can.
Which one is more likely to be successful?
Two divers are about to attempt the same dive from the 10 metre platform.
They have identical training routines, similar coaches and the same physical capabilities.
But again, there’s one key difference between them.
One believes that he can nail the dive perfectly.
The other doesn’t think that he can.
Which one is more likely to be successful?
I don’t know what your plans are in life.
But I do know that once you’ve prepared yourself and done the hard work, all that’s left is to believe.
Believe that you’re ready.
Believe that you can do it.
And notice the difference that it makes.

Thank you! Very inspirational post!
You have to believe in yourself. If you do, you will have success.
Or, like Henry Ford put it: Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right!
