English: A calendar showing the leap year day....

2012 is a leap year, giving us 29 days in February.

That’s a whole extra day!

One of the biggest complaints that I hear is that we don’t have enough time.

Well, how does an extra 24 hours sound, because it sounds pretty good to me?

As far as I can see, we have a choice.

We can carry on as if it’s just another ordinary day, or we make sure that we don’t let this opportunity pass us by to do something special.

What are you going to do with your extra day?

Are you going to stumble into the office, follow your usual routine, go through your emails and then complain about how tired you are and that you never have enough time?

Or are you going to stop and think, plan for the future, spend the day praying and fasting, write down some goals, call an old friend, take your wife out on a date, take the kids to the park, have a coffee with an old work colleague, start writing that book or invest some time in someone who has great potential?

Is this the chance to do something that you’ve been making excuses for not doing for far too long?

Or is it just another day?

We have a whole extra day this year, it would be a shame to waste it.

How are you going to maximise the 29th of February?
