I’m sure that we’ve heard these statements before and if we’re honest we’ve said a few of them as well.

Some day I’m going to lose weight.”

Some day I’m going to give my kids the attention they deserve.”

Some day I’m going back to study.”

Some day I’m going to launch my own business.”

Some day I’m going to go back to church.”

Some day I’m going to quit smoking.”

Some day I’m going to start working hard and build my career.”

When we use the term some day we give ourselves an excuse for not taking action.  We delay, delay, delay and never do anything.

If you’re serious about doing anything meaningful with your life, replace some day with today.

Some day never comes.

Today is all that we have.

Let’s make the most of it.
