2010 is almost over, so I thought that I would list the 10 most popular of the 200 posts that have been written here on the Better Life Coaching blog this year.
As an apprentice blogger, it’s been interesting for me to learn about what readers are either finding through search engines or passing on to their friends.
These aren’t necessarily the best posts that I’ve written, but they are the most popular. I’ve chosen not to include my “About Darren” page on the list, although that did rank higher than any of these posts.
The people have spoken so here’s my top 10 for 2010:
1. The Emperor’s Seed – A Story About Integrity
2. 50 Great Coaching Questions
3. Five Blind Men and an Elephant – A Story About Perspective
5. The Donkey in the Well – A Story About Persistence
6. What Can We Learn From Ants?
7. Brilliant Quotes – Vince Lombardi
8. Brilliant Quotes – Coach John Wooden
9. Buying Time – A Story For All Busy Parents
10. Inspirational People – Jim Stynes
This list certainly shows me that readers love stories, so I’ll be on the look-out for more great tales to share in 2011.
Thanks to everyone who has read any of my posts and especially to those who have chosen to subscribe, bookmark or pass on my links to others.
Is there anything that you would like to see more of, less of or that you would like me to continue writing about next year?

I like that you were able to see that stories worked great! I will look forward to more story posts from you then. 😉 I think we relate well to stories, the idea sticks with us better that way.
Being a beginning blogger too, I have kind of evolved over the year. At one time I did more of a personal section after a scripture, relating the idea to my own life. Nothing wrong with that, but I found that people would comment more about my situations and I wasn’t sure they were getting the God idea I was trying to get across. ha! So I think that we like to read about the writer of the blogs and get to know them better through their daily life stuff. And maybe that helps us be able to listen to what they have to say better too. 🙂
