Life is great!

It’s good for the soul to occasionally just smile and celebrate all of the good things that are in our lives.

So today, I want to celebrate my amazing family, with the best wife and kids in the world who give me such joy and unconditional love.

I want to celebrate great music that makes me want to sing along with the artist (and perhaps even dance a little).

I want to celebrate the opportunities that I get to use my skills and abilities to make a contribution to those around me and make a living for my family.

I want to celebrate the brilliant writers who constantly inspire me, inform me, surprise me and compel me to want to get better at what I do.

I want to celebrate nature, with the beauty of creation something that I constantly marvel at.

I want to celebrate the great people in my life who laugh freely and encourage generously.

I want to celebrate the future.  It’s exciting and fascinating even though I don’t know exactly what’s in store.

I want to celebrate the inspirational stories of people who make a difference in the world and maximise their potential.

And I want to celebrate my God who loves me and who has a plan and purpose for my life.

Life is great!

I know that there are always some things that aren’t perfect.  But that doesn’t stop it from being exciting or worth being grateful for!

I could focus on the aspects of life that give me grief, but I would prefer to spend my energies on the things that are worth celebrating.

Because life’s too short to be complaining when we could be celebrating!

p.s. This is the 600th post on this blog, so I’m celebrating that as well.

What do you want to celebrate today?
